Funeral services for Kenneth Reynolds, 91, of Donalsonville, Ga., were held Monday, March 2, at Friendship United Methodist Church in Donalsonville, Ga., with the Rev. Kirk Loyless officiating.
Interment followed at friendship cemetery in Donalsonville, Ga., with Fred Brackin, William Bramlett, Bill Crosby, Buryl Logue, Dr. Charles O. Walker and Bill Burke serving as pallbearers.
Born on Sept. 5, 1917, in Decatur County, Ga., Mr. Reynolds died on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009, at the Donalsonville Hospital.
Mr. Reynolds served three years in the U.S. Air Force during World War II before working with the USDA Farmers Home Administration, from which he retired. Mr. Reynolds was also an active member of Friendship United Methodist Church. He was an 1934 alumnus of the former Faceville High School and an alumnus of the University of Georgia. Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by his first wife, Marcelene Williams Reynolds; a sister, Frankie Reynolds Willis; and two brothers, Leonard Reynolds Jr., and Bill K. Reynolds.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Benton Howard Reynolds of Donalsonville, Ga.; a daughter, Susan Olivia Reynolds Griner of Tallahassee, Fla.; a son, Dr. Donald Hobson Howard of Savannah, Ga.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
