Funeral services for Audry Lucile Williams, 86, of Bainbridge, will be held Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Cox-Ware Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mike Allen officiating.
Interment will follow at West Bainbridge Cemetery with Eddie Williams, Garrett Williams, Gerald Thompson, Wayne Gallups, R.L. Grimes Jr. and Brandon Gallups serving as pallbearers.
Born on Jan. 16, 1923, in Baker County, Ga., Mrs. Williams died on Feb. 22, 2009, at Memorial Manor in Bainbridge.
Mrs. Williams was a seamstress at Dickies for 24 years and also worked at United Plastics. She was a member of West Street Baptist Church. She was precede in death by her husband, Lester C. Williams; two sons, Bud Williams and Bobby Williams; a daughter, Duane Gallups; two sisters, Ada Lee Grimes and Nan Thompson; and three brothers, Seab Grimes, Clayton Grimes and Bill Grimes.
Survivors include two sons, Jack Williams of Bainbridge and Larry Williams of Opelika, Ala.; a sister, Mary Suggs; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Cox-Ware Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
