Funeral services for Johnny Edward Miller, 30, of Orlando, Fla., will be held Friday, Feb. 20, at 2 p.m. in the chapel at Cox-Ware Funeral Home with the Revs. Jimmy Walden and Onez Lee officiating.
Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Steve Cinque, Dave Lowe, Jeremy Cathey, James Cartner, James Antony and Michael Kramer serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be he held Thursday, Feb. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Cox-Ware Funeral Home.
Born Feb. 12, 1979, in Bainbridge, Mr. Miller died on Feb. 15, 2009, at his residence in Orlando, Fla.
Mr. Miller lived in Bainbridge until he was 18 years old, when he then joined the U.S. Navy. He attended Bainbridge High School, where he was a member of the Air Force Junior ROTC. He was also affiliated with the Bainbridge Little Theatre. He had lived the past five years in Orlando, Fla., where he had been employed as a sound technician at Walt Disney World. He was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include his parents, Jimmy and Elaine Miller of Bainbridge; two sisters, Joyce Coddington of Bainbridge and Jennifer Eakin of Lake Seminole, Ga.; his paternal grandmother, Evelyn Miller of Tampa, Fla.; his maternal grandparents, Tom and Dot Dollar of Bainbridge; and a host of other family and friends.
Cox-Ware Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
