Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Louis A. Noriega was recently promoted to his current rank while serving with Patrol Squadron 45, Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, Fla. Noriega is the son of Marisela Barcenas of Climax, Ga., and Louis Noriega of Coral Gables, Fla. He was promoted based on sustained superior job performance and proficiency in his designated specialty. Noriega joined the Navy in November 2003.
