Two Grace Christian Academy Lady Cougars and two Cougars were named to the All-Tournament teams after leading their teams to second place finishers in three team fields at the recent Byne Memorial Baptist School Tipoff Tournament in Albany.

Lady Cougar All-Tournament players were Brock Bailey, who had 38 points, 28 rebounds, five steals, two assists and two blocked shots, and Jasmine Kelley and Jasmine Kelley who had 18 points, 24 rebounds, four steals and one blocked shot.

Making the All-Tournament team from the Cougars were Anthony Henderson, who had 51 points, 26 rebounds, nine steals, four assists and three blocked shots and Leonard Sheppard who had 53 points, 20 rebounds, eight steals, three assists and four blocked shots.

Grace athletic director Justin Gravlee said he is proud of the way the All-Tournament performers played in the tournament.

“Brock Bailey is a strong returner from last year who has a positive attitude off the court and is an example for the younger girls,” Gravlee said.

“Jasmine Kelley is new to the team this year and has really fit in well. She is a tough, physical player which is needed to establish a strong presence underneath.

“Anthony Henderson is a senior who has been improving every year and Leonard Sheppard had a great weekend.”
