U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Nathaniel “Nathan” Dane Eidson will be deployed to Iraq the first week of January. Staff Sgt. Eidson is married to Valarie Sharpton Eidson, the daughter of Bob and Ruby Sharpton of Bainbridge, Ga. Staff Sgt. Eidson is the son of the Rev. Dane and Delores Eidson and the grandson of Peggy and the Late Junior Eidson. In the picture, Staff Sgt. Eidson is holding his son, David Eidson, who was born Dec. 13. Staff Sgt. Eidson is stationed at Fort Hood, Texas. This is the third tour to Iraq for Staff Sgt. Eidson.
