Memorial services for Julian K. “Gator” Mobley, 67, of Climax, Ga., will be on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 1 p.m. at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Stanley Phillips and Steve Poppell officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Mr. Mobley, who was born in Grady County, Ga., died Wednesday, Dec. 3, at his residence.
He served in the U.S. Air Force, was a carpenter/painter and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Jimmy Mobley, Tommy Mobley and Ronnie Mobley, and his sister, Betty Mobley Byrd.
Survivors include three sons, Glenn K. Mobley of Cairo, Ga., Greg E. Mobley and Trent Odom, both of Climax, Ga.; his daughter, Lily Mobley of Climax, Ga.; two brothers, Buddy Mobley of Dearing, Ga., and George Mobley of Whigham, Ga.; two sisters, Ruth Elian of Ochlocknee, Ga., and Wilma Brinson of Whigham, Ga.; two grandchildren and companion Polly Mobley.
Ivey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
