The 11th Annual Georgia Sheriff’s Youth Homes Charity Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, Oct. 27, at the Bainbridge Country Club on Country Club Road, located off Georgia 309 South. Lunch and registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. Tee time will be 1 p.m., to be followed by a barbecue and awards ceremony after play has concluded. The entry fee is $65. The event is sponsored by Southwind Ford, the local Communication Workers of America union and the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office. The Georgia Sheriff’s Youth Homes is a private, non-profit child care agency sponsored by the Georgia Sheriffs’ Association.
