I lived next door to Mr. Alfred [Rogers] from 1997 until 2005. He was as good a neighbor as anyone would want. He loved my grandchildren, and they still want to go by his house to visit. He inquired regularly about my son, Steve, when he was overseas in the Middle East. He is one of the finest men I have ever had the privilege of meeting. I’m sure the old neighborhood misses him!
