• Climax Baptist Church—A benefit sing for Sharon Haire of Bainbridge will be held at the church at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23. Groups performing will be The Hymn Masters Quartet, The Disciples and many others. Haire has been fighting cancer for some time now, and benefit are for medical and treatment expenses.

• Donalsonville Assembly of God—Missionaries to Israel, Tim and Elizabeth Hanson, will be the guest speakers at Donalsonville Assembly of God, located at 606 N. Tennille Ave., in Donalsonville, on Sunday, Jan. 24, at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served after the morning service. The Rev. James Scarborough is the pastor

• Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church—The church, located at 849 Martin Luther King Dr., Bainbridge, will have their pastor's appreciation day for the Rev. Adolph Noble Sr., on Sunday, Jan. 24 at 11 a.m. The event speakers will be the Rev. John Neal of Greater St. Andrews Baptist Church.

• Emanuel M.B. Church—The church, located on Emanuel Church Road in Fowlstown, Ga., will hold a Family and Friends Day on Sunday, Jan. 24, at 11 a.m. The Rev. John Thomas Sr. is the pastor.

• Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church—The annual family and friends day will be held Sunday, Jan. 24, at 11 a.m. The church is located on Spring Creek Road in West Bainbridge. The Rev. David L. Gosha is the pastor. The event theme is "standing together in love and unity." A guest choir from Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Brinson, Ga., will be singing at this event.

• Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church—The church, located at 1810 S. West St. in Bainbridge, will have Family and Friends Day on Sunday, Jan. 24, beginning at 11:15 a.m. The Rev. Jerome Severson is the pastor.

• Celebration Baptist—The church, located at 3039 Faceville Hwy. on 97 South, is having their Fifth Sunday Sing and Homecoming on Sunday, Jan. 31, at 10:30 a.m. There will be no Sunday School, but instead will be a service for all of the church's history, which includes all members and former members. The Rev. Haskel White is the pastor, and Resting Place will be the speaker.

• Mount Olive Baptist Church—At 11 a.m. on Jan. 31, The Hendersons will be in concert at the church, which is located on Mount Olive Church Road, in Bainbridge.

• Climax Baptist Church—The church, located at 204 W. Lee St., Climax, Ga., will have a Fifth Sunday Sing on Jan. 31 at 6 p.m. featuring the Dove Brothers from Bladenboro, N.C. This group has received many awards and was awarded the Horizon Group of the Year for 2009. Bring a covered dish for a meal and fellowship after the service. The Rev. Steve Poppell is the pastor.

• Mount Zuma M.B. Church—The church, located at 2015 Vada Road, Bainbridge, will have a Fifth Sunday Sing on Sunday, Jan. 31, at 5 p.m. The Amazing Harmony Four, the Spiritual Aires and the Morris Temple Choir, all of Bainbridge, as well as the Faithful Few of Donalsonville, Ga., will be singing at this event. The Rev. Harry J. Mitchell Sr., is the pastor.

• Greater Mount Calvary First Baptist Church—The church, located at 417 E. Board St., will have its revival on Feb. 8-10 beginning at 7:30 p.m. each evening.

• St. Paul M.B. Church—The church, located at 2714 Thomasville Hwy., will hold its single ministry worship and gala on Feb. 12 beginning at 6 p.m., and on Feb. 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Rev. John Wooden is the pastor.

• Mount Zuma M.B. Church—The church, located at 2015 Vada Hwy., Bainbridge, will have an old-fashioned day on Sunday, Feb. 21, at 11:30 a.m. The Rev. Harry J. Mitchell Sr., is the pastor.
