Tallahassee runners win Classic

Vince Molosky and Paula O’Neill of Tallahassee, Fla., won the male and female championships at Saturday’s Bainbridge-Decatur County YMCA 2009 Veteran’s Day Classic 10,000-meter run.

Molosky’s overall winning time over the 6.2-mile course, which began and ended on the Bainbridge College campus, was 35 minutes, 41.52 seconds.

O’Neill’s female winning time was 49:02.19.

The son and mother team of Kyle Harris and Julie Harris of Bainbridge were the top Decatur County male finisher and top female, over 40, finisher. Their times were 37:56.45 and 54:20.49.

The top Decatur County female finisher was Shana Martin of Bainbridge. Her time was 50:08.43.

The top male, over 40, finisher was Joel Piotrowski of Tallahassee, Fla. His time was 38:53.23.
