Oliver takes gold in Junior Olympics

Rachel Oliver, the 16-year-old daughter of Joy and Andy Oliver, competed on June 25 in the Junior Olympics National Championship in Savannah, Ga. Oliver gave an outstanding performance, winning the coveted Gold Medal, first-place all around title. She also won the second-place Silver Medal for her performance on the vault and balance beam, as well as third-place Bronze Medal for her performance on the bars. Oliver is a member of the Gymnast-A-Cats gymnastics team and is coached by Melynda Murkerson.
