Miss Demmon to wed Mr. McConnell on March 20, 2010

ENGAGED: Charle Demmon and Colby McConnell

Betty Demmon of Marianna, Fla., announce the engagement of her daughter, Charle Demmon, to Colby McConnell, both of Panama City Beach, Fla.

The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Bill Demmon. She is the granddaughter of Myrtle Padgett of Marianna, Fla., and the late Lloyd Padgett.

Miss Demmon is a 2005 graduate of Marianna High School and a 2009 graduate of Florida State University with a degree in professional communications. She was on the dean’s list and graduated magna cum laude. She is currently employed as an advertising coordinator.

The groom-elect is the son of Billy and Donna McConnell of Bainbridge, Ga.

Mr. McConnell is a 2004 graduate of Bainbridge High School and is currently attending Thomas Edison State College in Trenton, N.J., pursuing a degree in international business. He is employed as an UPS account manager.

The wedding is March 20 in a private ceremony in Marianna, Fla. A reception will be held April 3 in the Marianna Agricultural Center, and all friends and relatives are invited to attend the reception.
