Miss Griner to wed Mr. Hatcher on April 10, 2010

ENGAGED: April Faith Griner and Philip Louis Hatcher

DeWayne Griner and Carole Clenney, and Melinda and Frank Santucci, all of Bainbridge, announce the engagement of their daughter, April Faith Griner of Atlanta, Ga., to Philip Louis Hatcher, also of Atlanta.

The bride-elect’s grandparents are Jack and Evelyn Toliver of Bainbridge, Ga., and the late Odell and Annie Griner.

Miss Griner is a 2003 graduate of Bainbridge High School and will graduate in May 2010 with a doctorate in pharmacy from Mercer University.

The groom-elect is the son of Hal and Johana Hatcher of Bainbridge. His grandparents are Bobby and Jolene Hatcher of Bainbridge, and the late Dr. and Mrs. Edward Pedrero Jr.

Mr. Hatcher is a 2003 graduate of Bainbridge High School and graduated in May 2008 from Georgia Tech with a bachelor’s in civil engineering. He later received a master’s in civil engineering in December 2009. Mr. Hatcher is currently employed as an engineer for Uzen & Case Engineers in Atlanta, Ga.

The wedding is scheduled for April 10 at 5:30 p.m. at Southwind Plantation in Bainbridge, Ga., with a reception to follow.
