Miss Harrison to wed Mr. Floyd on December 5, 2009

Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Harrison announce the engagement of their daughter, Jacklyn Harrison, to Eric Floyd, all of Bainbridge, Ga.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mickey and Ken Blocker of Bainbridge, Ga., Betty Cawvey of Thomasville, Ga., David and Maryellen Harrison of Albany, Ga., and the late Malcom Ingram.

Miss Harrison is a 2007 graduate of Bainbridge High School. She is currently attending Bainbridge College, pursuing a major in criminal justice, and is employed with Tuten Chiropractic Center.

The groom-elect is the son of Len and Shelia Floyd of Bainbridge, Ga., and is the grandson of Betty and Harry Williams of Bainbridge, Ga., Junita and Buddy Griffin of Bainbridge, Ga., and the late Clifford Floyd.

Mr. Floyd is a 2002 graduate of Bainbridge High School, and currently farms for Rentz Family Farm.

The wedding is planned for Dec. 5 at 4 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church in Brinson, Ga., and a reception will follow in the fellowship hall. All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and reception.

Miss Whitaker to wed Mr. Godwin on December 5, 2009

Mr. and Mrs. David Whitaker, and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Smith announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Marie Whitaker, to Wesley K. Godwin, all of Bainbridge, Ga.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Florence Genovar and John Reyes of Miami, Fla., Andy and Joyce Galphin of Bainbridge, Ga., Marlin Whitaker, and Joyce and Terry Day, all of Bainbridge.

Miss Whitaker is a 2006 graduate of Bainbridge High School and is currently employed with BP in Chattahoochee, Fla., as a customer service representative.

The groom-elect is the son of Karol Godwin, and Lee and Tammy Godwin of Bainbridge, Ga. Mr. Godwin is the grandson of the late Earl and Onita Hayes, Leon Sr. and Betty Godwin of Climax, Ga., Tommy and Mary Day of Bainbridge, Ga., and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Miles of Bainbridge, Ga.

Mr. Godwin is a 2008 graduate from Bainbridge High School and is currently employed at Harvey’s and is a student at Bainbridge College as a drafting major.

The wedding is planned for Dec. 5 at 4:30 p.m. at the Climax Depot in Climax, Ga. A reception will follow. All friends and family are invited to attend the wedding and reception.
