Miss Brewer to wed Mr. Leathers on October 17, 2009

ENGAGED: Melissa G. Brewer and Joshua L. Leathers

Mr. and Mrs. Jack L. Curles of Bainbridge, Ga., and Larry M. Brewer of Nashville, Tenn., announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa G. Brewer, to Joshua L. Leathers, both of Bainbridge.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Farrington of Bainbridge, Ga., and the late Frank E. Kay Sr.

Miss Brewer is employed with Regions Bank of Bainbridge, Ga.

The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ward of Bainbridge, Ga., and Thomas A. Leathers of Eufaula, Ala.

Mr. Leathers is the grandson of Sandra Dean, Mrs. Willie M. Taylor of Pelham, Ga., and the late Mr. C.A. Taylor, and Joseph D. Leathers of Eufaula, Ala.

Mr. Leathers is employed with Wholesale Tire and Battery in Bainbridge, Ga.

The wedding is planned for Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. at the home of the bride’s uncle and a reception will follow.
