Miss Chavis to wed Mr. Hale on November 14, 2009

ENGAGED: Holly Erin Chavis and John “Jack” David Hale

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Chavis of Attapulgus, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Holly Erin Chavis of Attapulgus, Ga., to John “Jack” David Hale III of Recovery, Ga.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Margie Gunn of Attapulgus, Ga., the late Roy Gunn, Betty Solomon and Allen Chavis.

Miss Chavis graduated from Edgewater High School in Orlando, Fla., in 2003 and is currently employed as a customer service associate at Lowe’s in Tallahassee, Fla.

The groom-elect is the son of David and Kim Hale of Recovery, Ga. He is the grandson of Ron and Susan Slawson of Gainesville, Ga., Myra Hudson also of Gainesville, Joel Easom of Dalton, Ga., and the late John David Hale.

Mr. Hale is a 2004 graduate of Bainbridge High School and is currently employed as a department supervisor at Home Depot in Bainbridge.

The wedding is planned for Nov. 14 at 3 p.m. at the Climax Depot in Climax, Ga. A reception will follow. Friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and reception.
