Miss Whitehead to wed Mr. Sessions on January 2, 2010



ENGAGED: Kelley Whitehead and Albert Elliot Sessions

Claire, Jim and Annabel Whitehead announce the engagement of their mother, Kelley Whitehead, to Albert Elliot Sessions, both of Bainbridge, Ga.

The bride-elect's parents are Rodney Smith of Marianna, Fla., and the late Dianne Smith. Her grandparents are Charles and Vivian Garmon of Chattahoochee, Fla., and the late John Smith, Maynard B. and Mattie B. Woodlief.

Ms. Whitehead is a graduate of Marianna High School, Chipola College and the University of Central Florida. She is employed by the Decatur County School System as a first-grade teacher at Elcan-King Elementary School in Bainbridge.

The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Sessions of Tallahassee, Fla. His grandparents are the late John and Ludie Sessions, and Kay Elliot of Bainbridge and the late William Elliot.

Mr. Sessions is a graduate of Godby High School in Tallahassee, Florida State University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is employed by First Baptist Church of Bainbridge as the youth pastor.

The wedding will be held Jan. 2 at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Bainbridge. A church reception will immediately follow in the church's fellowship hall. A casual reception will be held at 4 p.m. at The Blackburn Tobacco Barn, Johnson Road, Havana, Fla. No local invitations will be sent. All family and friends are invited to attend the wedding and both receptions.
