Theresa Lenore Phillips, 58, of Bainbridge, Ga., passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016 at her residence.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. DeWitt Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Whites Bridge Cemetery with the employees of Barfield’s Electric serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel.

Theresa was born August 6, 1957 in Pueblo, Colorado, the daughter of James L. Rogers and Georgia Vetere Jones. She was an employee of Barfield’s Electric for over 20 years. Theresa enjoyed woodworking, especially making plaques and signs, and chasing after her grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, Scott A. Phillips of Bainbridge; her grandchildren, Scott Austin Phillips, Colton O’Neal Phillips, and Julian Ryann Williamson; her mother, Georgia Vetere Jones; her siblings, Joey Rogers and his wife, Connie, of Colorado, Robbie Valdez of Colorado, Lynette Rogers of Colquitt, Ga., and Larryn Rogers of Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by a son, Robert O’Neal Phillips; her father, James L. Rogers; and her siblings, Mona Phillips and Mike Valdez.
