Henry Kennon Cobb Jr.

Henry Kennon Cobb, Jr., age 75, of Reynoldsville, Ga. passed away Monday, May 23, 2016 at Noland Hospital in the Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Ala.

Graveside services for Mr. Cobb will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at New Life at Lake Seminole Cemetery with Rev. Glen Elmore officiating.  Interment will follow.  Visitation will be held on Thursday morning from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.

Mr. Cobb was born August 24, 1940 to Henry Cobb and Mattie Reese Cobb.  He served his country in the United States Navy.  Mr. Cobb was the shop supervisor with the Decatur County Road Dept. for 20 years before retiring.  He made many friends during his time there.  Mr. Cobb loved working alongside his wife in the yard.  He had an infectious smile and never met a stranger.

Mr. Cobb attended New Life at Lake Seminole Church.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 53 years, Jennifer Cobb of Reynoldsville; his sons, John K. Cobb and his wife Tammy of Georgetown, Ga. and William A. Cobb of Reynoldsville; his brothers, Raymond Cobb and his wife Gloria of Edgewater, Fla., Jimmy Cobb of Morgan, Ga., William W. Cobb and his wife Ora of Edison, Ga., Danny Cobb and his wife Louise of Morgan, Ga.; his sisters, Faye Rogers and her husband Rodney of Enterprise, Ala. and Kay Rogers of Abbeville, Ala.  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and grandchildren and their families.
