Edward Lee Hall, age 86, of Brinson, GA passed away Tuesday morning, April 26, 2016 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home in Donalsonville, Ga..

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Hall were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Oak City Cemetery in Bainbridge, Ga.. Active casketbearers will be Alex Jernigan, Bob Glover, Billy Whittaker, Jeffrey Swanner, John Kirkus, and Vince Kelley.  Visitation was held on Wednesday evening, April 27, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Seminole County Warpath on Cancer c/o Lucy Thomas PO Box 616 Donalsonville, GA 39845.

Mr. Hall was born in Rehobeth, Ala. on June 6, 1929 to Fred Hall and Addie Kilgore Hall.  He served his country in the United States Army, having served in the Panama Canal Zone during the Korean War.  Mr. Hall was involved in the monument industry for over 60 years, having been the former owner of South Georgia Granite Company in Decatur County, as well as a partner in Hall Monument here in Donalsonville, GA.  He was also a member of the Masons and Shriners, as well as First Christian Church of Bainbridge.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Dr. Ed Hall, Jr.and wife Sandra of Thomasville, Ga., Jimmy Hall of Brinson, Ga., Pam Swanner and her husband Dale of Iron City, Ga., Dr. Greg Hall and his wife Beth of Donalsonville, Ga., and Charles Hall and his wife Jennifer of Brinson.  Mr. Hall is also survived by a sister, Geraldine Skipper of Dothan, Ala.; 15 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren

Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Addie Hall; his wife, Jean Wacaser Hall; and his wife, Frances Cannon Hall Gaither.
