Mary Lynn Hanks

Mary Lynn Hanks, formerly of Bainbridge, Ga., went peacefully to Heaven on Feb. 15, 2016 in Woodlake, California.

She was born April 13, 1926, the daughter of Calvin and Wilma Sledge.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Burl Hanks in 1982, and two brothers, Buddy and Joc Sledge.

Surviving are five daughters and one son: Dorothy, Shelia, Patsy, Robbie Sue, Lynn and James. Also surviving are two sisters, Kathleen and Robbie Jean; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Mary was retired from United Plastics and a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Bainbridge.

Memorial services will be held in Pontotoc,Miss. at the Antioch Baptist Church at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2016.
