A Mike Floyd dump truck crashed off the road this Monday and came to rest on the train tracks off U.S. 27 North.

According to Georgia TFC Mark Marchant, the truck’s front right tire blew as it was passing Mt. Zion Church Road. The truck driver lost control of the vehicle as it smashed into a ditch and flipped on top of the train tracks.

“His tire blew, traveled into the east ditch, struck a tree and overturned on the driver’s side, coming to final rest on the train tracks,” Marchant said.
