Coach Amy Thomas’s Bainbridge High School Bearcats tennis team posted 5-0 Region a 1-AAAA victory over the Americus-Sumter County High School Panthers on Tuesday at home and a 5-0 Region 1-AAAA victory over the Worth County High School Rams on Thursday in Sylvester.

In the victory over Americus–Sumter County, Nour Hasona defeated Heeral McGee 6-1, 6-1 in number one singles, Jones Gossett defeated Joseph Ndaayezui 6-0, 6-0 in number two singles and Grayson Graham defeated Sage Finch 6-4, 6-1 in number three singles.

In doubles action against Americus-Sumter County, Bryce Howell and Mark Loeffler defeated Will McCoy and Austin Sandwich 6-0, 6-0 in number one doubles and Hudson Barber and Matthew Walker defeated Reggie Merrit and John Martinez 6-4,

7-5 in number two doubles.

In the victory over Worth County, Hasona defeated West Cook 6-0, 6-1 in number one singles, Gossett defeated Bennett Roberts 6-0, 6-0 in number two singles and Graham defeated Wyatt Tison 6-0, 6-0 in number three singles.

In doubles action against Worth County, Howell and Loeffler defeated Jason Merritt and Taylor Johnson, 6-0, 6-0 in number one doubles and Barber and Dalton Savage defeated Eddie Souter and Jaden Castlebery 6-0, 6-1 in number two doubles.

The Lady Cats’ tennis team defeated the Americus-Sumter County High School Lady Panthers 5-0 and the Worth County High School Lady Rams 5-0.

Tuesday against the Lady Panthers Taylor Greene defeated Jessica Clayton

6-3, 6-2 in number one singles, Mallie Rollins defeated Kate Griffith 6-1, 6-0 in number two singles and Sydnee Burke defeated Courtney Dickens 6-0, 6-0 in number three singles.

In doubles action against Americus-Sumter County Maci Barber and Jade Stacey defeated Kahria Hadley and Bailey Roberson 6-2, 0-6, 10-4 at number one doubles and Chloe Powell and Bree Powell defeated Morgan Cloutier and Hannah Martinez

6-1, 6-2 in number two doubles.

Thursday against the Lady Rams Greene defeated Kandace Christmas 6-1, 6-1 in number one singles, Rollins defeated Jamonica King 6-1, 6-1 in number two singles and Burke defeated Lydia Crackel 6-0, 6-0 in number three singles.

In doubles action against Worth County, Barber and Stacey defeated Jaden Thompson and Anna Cannarella 6-0, 6-0 in number one doubles and Powell and Brianna Mills defeated Tatyana Legree and Shahani Martin-Banks 6-0, 6-0 in number two doubles.
