Orren Kermit Harrison

August 12, 1937 – September 22, 2015

Funeral services for Orren Kermit Harrison, 78, of Whigham, Ga., are at 2 p.m., Friday, September 25, 2015, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, Ga.  Rev. Steve Poppell will officiate.  Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Climax.  Mr. Harrison passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Tuesday, September 22, 2015.

Active pallbearers will be his nephews.

Mr. Harrison was born on August 12, 1937, in Cairo, to the late Robert Leo Harrison and Eva Dare Moore Harrison.  He served his country in the U.S. Navy.  He married Doris Faye Green Harrison, who survives.  He retired from the Engelhard Corporation. His favorite canine friend and companion was Buddy.

Survivors include: his wife, Faye Green Harrison of Whigham; brothers, St. Elmo Harrison of Whigham, Buryl Harrison (Martha Lee) of Climax,  Ronald Harrison (Rhuden) of Climax, Donald Harrison (Carolyn) of Whigham; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Friday, September 25, 2015, from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour of 2 p.m.
