J. Stuart McKenzie, 78, of Macon, Ga., passed away Monday, September 21, 2015 at Coliseum Medical Center in Macon.

Mr. McKenzie was born September 15, 1937 in Bainbridge, Ga., the son of James Stuart McKenzie Sr. and Rosalyn Hurst McKenzie. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School and received his bachelors degree from Georgia Tech. Mr. McKenzie was a retired construction contractor and a member of First United Methodist Church in Bainbridge.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Marie Guthrie of Macon; his son, John Pryor McKenzie of Alexander City, Ala.; and his sister, Susan M. Lynah of Savannah, Ga.. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James Stuart McKenzie, III.
