Graveside funeral services for Vicky Lynn Kines, 45, of Bainbridge, Ga., are at 11 a.m. Monday, April 6, 2015, in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, Ga..  Rev. Dewitt Phillips will officiate.  Ms. Kines went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 4, 2015, at Memorial Hospital and Manor in Bainbridge, GA.

Active pallbearers will be Monty Bullock, Jerry Hatcher, Rick Kelly, Eddie Polk, Kenny King, Ken Dollar and Chris Kines.  Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Decatur County EMS, Decatur County Fire/Rescue, Calhoun County EMS, Seminole County EMS and Fire Department.

Ms. Kines was born on April 24, 1969, in Tuscaloosa, Ala., to Nila June Franks Kines, who survives, and the late James Gerald Kines, Sr. Vicky received her paramedics license from Darton College and spent 22 years serving her community as an EMT and Paramedic. She was an avid Georgia Bulldog and Nascar fan. Vicky loved her niece and nephew very much and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include: mother, Nila June Kines, of Cairo; niece, Shelley Lyn Kines of Whigham, Ga.; nephew, Braden James Kines of Whigham; sister-in-law, Carrie Kines, mother of Shelley and Braden of Whigham; grandmother, Rosa Lee Perkins Kines of Cairo; lifelong friend, Trina Webb of Iron City, Ga.; and a host of aunts, uncles and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Gerald “Jerry” Kines, Sr.; brother, Jimmy Kines.

Memorials may be made in Ms. Kines memory to EMS Association.

The family will receive friends at graveside in Greenwood Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
