Ailene M. Baggett, 85, of Bainbridge, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Memorial Hospital.
The graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Mrs. Baggett was born August 9, 1929 in Cairo, Ga., the daughter of Rainey Tilley and Ella Maloy Tilley. She was a graduate of Cairo High School and was a dedicated homemaker raising her family. Ailene was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and loved her family and her dog, Chesterbug.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Baggett; her children, Kenneth Baggett and Greg Baggett; and her sister, Dorothy Hinson.
Survivors include her children, Charlotte B. Brown and her husband, Gary, of Bainbridge, and Steve Baggett and his wife, Martha, of Lake Blackshear, Ga.; her grandchildren, Misty Brown of Thomasville, and Tonja B. Womack of Frisco, Texas; and 3 great-grandchildren, Jansen, Jaden, and Kade.
