BMS Homecoming queen crowned

Makayla Hamilton was crowned homecoming queen and Darly Brock was named maid of honor highlighting Bainbridge Middle School’s homecoming festivities Thursday at Centennial Field.

They, along with the rest of the homecoming court, were honored during halftime of Thursday’s BMS Bearcats football game at Centennial Field.

Miss Hamilton is the daughter of Rodrick Hamilton and Therice Cuff. She is a member of the National Junior Honor Society and the Bainbridge Middle School cheerleading squad.

Miss Brock is the daughter of Shannon and Tina Brock. She was  2013-2014 A honor roll student, is a member of the National Junior Honor Society and is captain of the cheerleading squad.

Other eighth grade attendants included: Tashara Rogers, daughter of Rex and Bridgette Rogers, who is an AB honor roll student; Mycha Harris, daughter of Catrina Harris and Michel Gordon who is an AB honor roll student and a recipient of the Presidential Academic Excellence Award; and Sydnee Strickland, daughter of Patrick and Rachel Trolinger and Mark and Lindsay Strickland. She is an AB honor roll student and the National Junior Honor Society and the varsity middle school cheerleading squad.

Also representing the eighth grade were Laura Lynn Gordon, daughter  of Eddie and Tesha Gordon, who is an AB honor roll student and a member of the National Junior Honor Society and Thyra Jackson, daughter of Toi Frazier and Brisco Jackson who is an AB honor roll student and a student council representative.

Seventh grade attendants included:  Tykeia Campbell, daughter of Tremayne Campbell and Stephanie Campbell, who is an AB honor roll student; Kennedy Jackson, daughter of Andre and Shasta Jackson, who is a member of the Middle School Honor Society and AB honor roll.

Also representing the seventh grade were Sarah Kaylee Wynn, daughter of Jamie and Melissa Wynn, who is a member of the honor society, the student council and the junior varsity cheerleading squad; E’Myra Jones daughter of Jessica Stanley, who is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes; and Jadlin King, daughter of Joshie and Shmyra  Deena King, who is a member of the Honor Society and an AB honor roll student.

Other seventh grade attendants were Aubri Donalson, daughter of Amy Whitehead and Brian Donalson,  who is a member of the junior varsity cheerleading squad and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes; Caroline Middleton, daughter of Kathy Bell and Brock Middleton, who is an A honor roll student; Clara Hernandez, daughter of Salvador  and Josefina Hernandez, who is an AB honor roll student.
