Funeral services for Dorcas Sellers Fraser, 64, of Cordele, will be at 4 p.m., Thursday, July 17, 2014 in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Fraser passed away Monday, July 14, 2014 at her residence in Cordele, Ga.  She was a native of Bainbridge, Ga. and the daughter to the late Oliver Woodrow Sellers, Sr. and the late Edna Pricilla Waller Sellers. She graduated from Bainbridge High School and Middle Georgia College as a registered nurse. She was employed with Crisp Regional Hospital and formerly employed by Lifecare of Fitzgerald. Dorcas was of the Baptist faith and very chartable, generous and spiritual. She also had a big heart.

She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law Meda Fraser.
Survivors include her husband Dennis J. Fraser of Cordele; step-son Dennis Fraser II and his wife Mandee Fraser of Savannah, Ga.; step-daughter Kedra Fraser Gay and her husband Gene of Warner Robins, Ga.; grandchildren Addysin Gay, Breanna Rhodes, Brayden Gay, Braxton Gay and Carmendee Fraser; sisters Elaine Sellers Loyd of Iron City, Ga., Martha Sellers Bryson of Brinson, Ga., Olivia Sellers McCall and her husband Charlie of Brinson, and Debra Sellers Lairson and her husband Robert of Valliant, Okla.; brothers Oliver W. Sellers Jr. and his wife Barbara of Brinson and David Sellers and his wife Kim of Climax, Ga.; father-in-law Joe Fraser of Cordele.
