Bearcats tee off new season

Coach Tom Wheeler’s Bainbridge High School Bearcats golf team will travel to Grand Island Country Club in Leesburg Monday to compete in the Lee County High School Trojan Invitational Tournament.
The Bearcats are led by senior golfers Tucker Greene and Maclane Suber  and junior golfer Davin Butler.
Sophomore team members are Brenden Greene, Steven Key and Bryce Howell. Representing the freshman class on the team are Christian Novak and Chase Dean.
On Saturday, March 14, the Bearcats will play in another invitational tournament. They will travel to the Douglas Golf and Country Club to compete in the Coffee County High School Trojan Invitational Tournament.
Their next dual match will be Thursday, Feb. 20 when they travel to Country Oaks Golf Club in in Thomasville to take on the Thomas County Central High School Yellow Jackets in a Region 1AAAAA match.
The Bearcats final two matches before spring break will be Monday, March 24, against the Early County High School Bobcats at Crooked Oak Golf Course in Colquitt and Thursday, March 27, against the Cairo High School Syrupmakers at Bainbridge Country Club.
