Bernice Faircloth Ingram, 82, of Bainbridge, passed away Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 at Memorial Manor Nursing Home.
The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 6, 2014 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Harrell officiating. Interment followed at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Shane McLendon, Brandon Ingram, Grady Ingram, Wesley Ingram, Brad Lambert, and Eric Lambert serving as active pallbearers.
Mrs. Ingram was born Feb. 28, 1931 in Iron City, Ga., the daughter of Ennis Grady Faircloth and Birdie Williams Faircloth. She was a graduate of West Bainbridge High School and was a seamstress for Jack Winter, Inc. Mrs. Ingram was a member of West Street Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C. H. Ingram; and her siblings, Douglas Faircloth, Mamie Black, Audrey Cook, and Ollie Mae Faircloth.
Survivors include her children, Charles Ingram and his wife, Sharon, of Climax, Ga., Susan I. Lambert and her husband, Dennis, of Climax, and Karl Ingram and his wife, Melba, of Brinson, Ga.; her sisters, Hazel Brunson of Ashford, Ala. and Melanie Hutchins of Bainbridge; her 7 grandchildren; and her 17 great-grandchildren.
Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
