Wanda Sue Fleming, 73, of Coleman, Ga., passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 in Brinson, Ga.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Vilulah Baptist Church near Coleman, Ga., with interment to follow in the church’s cemetery. The Rev. David Murphy will officiate.

The family will receive friends on Saturday at the church beginning at 10 a.m., and until the service begins.

Mrs. Fleming was born on May 19, 1940 in Cowarts, Ala., the daughter of the late Harvey and Ollie Merle Forehand Gibson. She was a former creel operator for the Amoco Fabrics plant in Bainbridge.

She was preceded in death by a son, Vance Miller; two daughters, Debra Sanders and Judy Lynn Miller; and two sisters, Lou Cutchens and Judy Gibson.

Survivors include her husband, John T. Fleming of Coleman; five sons, Stanley (Becky) Miller of Bainbridge, Tony (Dorenda) Miller of Bainbridge, Mark (Tammy) Miller of Brinson, Tom (Sally) Fleming of Edison and Alton Hobbs Jr. of Dawson; three daughters, Shannon (James) Martin of Brinson, Tina (Daniel) Griswald of Douglasville and Lucy Hobbs of Cuthbert; two sisters, Jeanie (Carol) Cook of Colquitt and Mary (Rodney) Baggett of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Lunsford Funeral Home of Cuthbert, Ga., is in charge of arrangements.
