Registration is now underway for YMCA Fall Soccer! There will be eight regular season games followed by a single elimination tournament to declare League Champions in each age division.  The deadline for registration is August 24. There will be a player evaluation day on Saturday, August 24 for all age groups, to determine skill levels of each athlete and teams will be selected that afternoon.

The first games is scheduled for September 12th and all games will be played on Thursday evenings on our YMCA soccer fields. We are always looking for volunteer coaches so please let us know if would like to join our YMCA coaching family. Come join the fun!

 

YMCA swim team to add fall season

The Bainbridge-Decatur County YMCA is now offering a year-round swim team.  Our new season begins Monday, August 5th at 6pm at the YMCA pool. Swim Team practices are held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. although younger swimmers are not required to stay for the entire practice session. The Barracuda Swim Team coaches are inviting any new young swimmers that are interesting in joining an upcoming swim team that produced 12 state qualified swimmers this past summer to tryout on Thursday evening, August 8th at 6:30 p.m. at the YMCA pool.
