Debbie Spooner Johnson, 58, of Cordele, Ga., died Monday, July 15, 2013, at Crisp Regional Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, at Sunnyside Cemetery. The Rev. Damon Fountain will officiate.

Debbie was born in Bainbridge, to the late Herbert Spooner and the late Bonnie Dollar Spooner. The widow of Billy Randall Johnson, she was a paraprofessional for the Crisp County Board of Education. She was a member of Northern Heights Baptist Church and enjoyed ministering on mission trips. She was an avid Christian expressing her love for her Lord her entire life.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law: Mike and Myrtle Spooner of Attapulgus.
