CROMERANNI

Glenn and Alton Cromer celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 27. After serving in the army, they lived in Tallahassee and visited their “hunting camp” in Bainbridge, which eventually included catfish ponds and grew into Decatur Fish Farm. The Cromers fell in love with Decatur County and decided in 2002 to move to Bainbridge and make it their “home.” After celebrating with family on a riverboat cruise and dinner at Wakulla Springs, Fla., they continued their celebration on the Lady Anderson dining yacht and a night in Panama City, Fla. The Cromers have two children, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Their children would like to say, “Thank you for the godly example of marriage that you have shown us. We are blessed that God and love brought you together as husband and wife, gave each of you a best friend for life and gave us the most wonderful parents in the world.”
