BHS baseball team honors accident victim’s familyPublished 6:43am Friday, July 5, 2013
On Tuesday, June 25, before a summer league baseball game with Robert F. Munroe in Quincy, Fla., the Bainbridge High School baseball team presented Bob and Lisa Wilder with a plaque honoring the memory of Joshua Wilder, who was killed in an automobile accident. Wilder was a student-athlete at Munroe, and the plaque will be hung in the team’s dugout. BHS player Tyler Braswell, who was involved in the accident that killed Wilder, was on hand for the presentation ceremony. Shown is Tyler Braswell and Bob Wilder sharing an emotional moment, after Wilder delivered an encouraging word to both the BHS and Munroe baseball teams.
