Betty Brewer Herrington

Betty Brewer Herrington of Camilla, Ga., died Sunday, June 23, 2013, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, in Albany, Ga.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, June 27, at First Baptist Church in Camilla, with interment in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. The Rev. Danny Thomas will officiate.

Born in Decatur County, Mrs. Herrington was the daughter of the late James Cranford and Susan Leona Ard Dollar.  Mrs. Herrington retired from P&C Bank and was a member of First Baptist Church of Camilla. “BeBe” was the heart of the family. She had the unique gift of making everyone feel special. She was dearly loved and can never be replaced. She will forever live in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Gene Brewer and Colon Herrington, and a brother, James Kenneth Dollar.

Survivors include three daughters, Charlotte Turley and husband, Steve, of Camilla, Beth Rix and husband, Brian, of Crestview, Fla., and Gina Poole and husband, Scott, of Evans, Ga.; three sisters, Phyllis Scott and husband, Gene, of Bainbridge, Martha Cross and husband, Vance, of Oxford, Ga., and Loraine Cumbie of Dothan, Ala.; 10 grandchildren, Brewer Turley, Brian Turley (Gerah), Brooke Pollock (Phillip), Joshua Rix (Chrystal), Katie Rix, Michael Rix, Robert Poole, Andrew Poole, Suzanna Poole, and David Poole;  and four great grandchildren, Danyelle Pollock, Makinley Pollock, Taylor Turley, and Savannah Turley.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla.
