Bring a friend — make a friend at our Classic Card Games Summer Reading Program event on Tuesday, June 25, at 10 a.m. Come and learn how to play traditional games where everybody visits, and has fun seeing who is “best” at playing cards.

Block off every Tuesday at 10 a.m. this June and July (except the week of July 4) and plan on attending every event. The 2013 Summer Reading Program is sponsored by Hardee’s, McDonald’s, Dairy Queen, and Skate Towne.

For more information, please call the Decatur County-Gilbert H. Gragg Library at (229) 248-2665 or visit our website at www.swgrl.org.

It’s cat and kitten time at ‘Toddler Time!’

Toddler Time is all about cats and kittens this June 27! Come to the library to play, learn, meet other tots, hear stories about our feline friends and see some cute kitty video clips.

This summer, the library will be holding Toddler Time every Thursday, through July 18. Make plans now to bring your young ones to the Decatur County-Gilbert H. Gragg Library every Thursday at 10 a.m. during the Summer Reading Program.

ACT/SAT study groups

All teens are invited to come and study for these tests together at 2 p.m. on Wednesdays, this June and July. Special study resources are available to participants, so come in and find out what you need to know about these tests, and study with other teens. For more information, call Carole Albyn at (229) 248-2665, ext. 114.

Establishing and maintaining credit

What is credit and why do we need it? Debra Middleton of First Port City Bank will be teaching local teens all about credit on Monday, June 24, at 5 p.m. She will give teens everything they need to know about how to responsibly use credit and build a healthy financial future.

All teens are invited! Please bring a friend and learn the basics about credit. For more information, please call the Decatur County-Gilbert H. Gragg Library at (229) 248-2665 or visit our website at www.swgrl.org.
