Miss Runnels to wed Mr. Moore in June

ENGAGED: Audrey Nicole Runnels and Parker Strain Moore

Mr. and Mrs. Keith Buckhaulter and John Runnels announce the engagement of their daughter, Audrey Nicole Runnels, of Bainbridge, to Parker Strain Moore, the son of Ed and Anna Moore, of Bayside, N.Y.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mary Turner, Betty Runnels and JoAnn Buckhaulter, all of Bainbridge; and the late Tracey Buzbee and Thomas Runnels.

Miss Runnels is a 2010 honor graduate of Bainbridge High School. She is currently a senior at the University of Georgia and will earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Sports Science in 2014. While at UGA, she was a member of the University’s dance team and the Red Coat Marching Band’s Georgettes. She is a member of Cleveland Road Baptist Church, in Athens, Ga.
The groom-to-be is the grandson of Bill and JoEllen Strain of Armuchee, Ga., of Erma Moore and the late Charles Moore of DuBois, Penn.

Mr. Moore is a 2009 honor graduate of Armuchee High School. He is currently a senior at the University of Georgia and will earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech and Communications in December. While at UGA, he served as their sports photographer and the mascot, “Hairy Dawg,” for two years. He is also a member of Cleveland Road Baptist Church. After graduation, Parker plans to go into full-time ministry.

The wedding is planned for June 29, 2013, at 5 p.m., at First Baptist Church in Athens. Invitations have been sent for the ceremony and reception.
