Support the Southern Xplosion 8-and-under travel baseball team by purchasing a chicken quarter plate with homemade potato salad, baked beans, bread, and dessert. Plate tickets cost $7 and can be purchased from any team parents or bought on the day of at Allen Sports on Shotwell Street. Businesses who purchase four or more plates can have theirs delivered Friday for lunch.Individual plate pickup will be at Allen Sports on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Proceeds go toward costs for uniforms, equipment and entering tournaments.
