We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Lachelle J. Spence, age 37, of Colquitt, GA who passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Tallahassee Memorial Regional Medical Center in Tallahassee, FL.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Flat Creek Baptist Church in Blakely, GA, with Rev. Cory Thomas and Rev. Billy Joe Butler officiating. Burial will follow in Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.

Mrs. Spence was born in Bainbridge, GA on July 17, 1975. She attended Flat Creek Baptist Church and worked as a bookkeeper for Spence Trucking, as well as a homemaker and working at her mother’s flower shop.

Mrs. Spence is survived by her husband, Gabe Spence of Colquitt, GA; two sons, Dalton Spence and Marshal Spence both of Colquitt, GA; her mother and father, Denise and Mike Webb of Bainbridge, GA; her father, Lynwood Sanders of Prattville, AL; her maternal grandmother, Janelle Nelson of Bainbridge, GA and her paternal grandmother, Nina Sanders of Bainbridge, GA; three brothers, Robbie Lynn Webb and his wife Kristie of Bainbridge, GA, Terry Michael Webb of Tallahassee, FL and Shawn Sanders of Ft. White, FL; two sisters, Heather Webb of Cleveland, TN and Tiffany Andrews and her husband Travis of Prattville, AL; and her father-in-law, Thomas E. Spence. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Spence was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Buster Dollar; her paternal grandfather, Leslie Sanders; and her mother-in-law, Daphine “Maw” Spence.

Active pallbearers will be Toby Johnson, LaDon Swanner, Jr., Neil Buckhalter, Fred Holcomb, Bruce Webb, and Lee Owens.
