Dale Rich Brown, 70, of Bainbridge, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 at Riverside Place.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Johns and Rev. James Scarborough officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery with Ashley Anderson, Brian Anderson, Tyler Rich, Dylan George, Kyle Rich, and Kaleb Rich serving as active pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Ivey Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Flint River Hospice, 402 N. West Street, Bainbridge, GA 39817.

Mrs. Brown was born Sept. 22, 1942 in Colquitt, Ga., the daughter of William Amos Addison and Ethel Ellen Haire Addison. She was a homemaker and retired from Kmart. Mrs. Brown was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ben Rich, Sr. and Roy L. Brown, Jr; and her daughter, Deborah Brown.

Survivors include her sons, Ralph Rich and his wife, Tondra, of Donalsonville, Ga. and Ben Rich, Jr. and his wife, April, of Bainbridge; her daughters, Teresa Kirkland and her husband, Kenny, of Colquitt, and Deana George and her husband, David, of Colquitt; her brother, Paul Addison of Valdosta, Ga.; her sisters, Inez Mock of Thomasville, Ga., Geneva Dollar of Bainbridge, and Eula Kelly of Bainbridge; her grandchildren, Stephanie Brown McCook and her husband, Kevin, Luke Brown, Tyler Rich and his wife Roxanne, Kyle Rich, Kaleb Rich, Ashley Anderson and his wife, Lindsay, Brian Anderson and his wife, Dana, Dylan George, Adam George, Jeremy George, and Justin Obney; and her 4 great-grandchildren.

The family appreciates the care and support of Riverside Place and Flint River Hospice.
