Robert and Elizabeth Phillips, of Climax, announce the engagement of their daughter Audrey Melissa Ann Sheddy to Jason Lance Hardman, the son of Roger and Sally Hardman, of St. Simons Island, Ga.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Leona Mull and the late Raymond G. Mull, of Milton, Pa.

She is a 1993 graduate of Bainbridge High School and graduated from North Georgia State University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. She received her Master of Arts degree in Biblical studies from Moody Graduate School in Chicago in 2007. She is employed as a science teacher in the Glynn County School System.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of the late Lance and Katherine Goss of Hall, W. Va., and of the late Max and Jean Marshall of Glennville, W. Va.

Mr. Hardman graduated from Glynn Academy in 1994 and from the University of Georgia in 1998 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance, then with a Master of Business Administration degree in 2004. He graduated cum laude. He is employed as a senior manager analyst for GP Cellulose.

The wedding is planned for March 17, 2013, at Lovely Lane Chapel in St. Simons Island. Invitations have been sent.
