Stan and Dale Griffin, of Bainbridge, announce the engagement of their daughter, Sieara Griffin, to Travis McCann, the son of Charlie and Elaine McCann, also of Bainbridge.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Sherwood and Patricia Henry, of Donalsonville, Ga. She is also the granddaughter of the late Donald P. Griffin, Fhalis Moore, and James and Minnie Griffin, all deceased.

Miss Griffin is a 2006 graduate of Bainbridge High School and received her LPN from Southwest Georgia Technical College. She is employed at Memorial Hospital and Manor.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Geraldine Burke of Colquitt, Ga., of the late Ralph Burke, and the late Albert and Linnie McCann.

Travis McCann is a 2008 graduate of Bainbridge High School and attended Bainbridge College. He is employed by McCann’s Poultry Farm.

The wedding is planned for March 16 at 4:30 p.m. at the Climax Depot, where the reception will follow.
