• First African Baptist Church, located at 115 Church Street in West Bainbridge, will observe Black History month during the 11 a.m. worship service. A soul food sampler dinner will be served following the worship hour. At 3 p.m. the board of religious education will present “Milestones and Living Legends” honoring African American nonagenarians and centenarians of Decatur County. Minister Gregory Hines of Kingdom Harvest Fellowship Church of Attapulgus is speaker.

 

Thursday, Feb. 28

28th annual Pilot Club Roast will be held at The Charter House, beginning with dinner at 7 p.m. This year’s subject will be Glennie Bench.
