Wednesday, Jan. 30
• New Life Deliverance Ministries, 115 Lynnwood Drive, Bainbridge, will begin a revival with guest ministers, Apostle Jacquelyn C. Porter of Tallahassee on Jan. 30 and Jan. 31, and Dr. Vernette Rosier of Panama City, Fla., on Feb. 1. Services are at 7:30 p.m. nightly.
• Miracle Deliverance Pentecostal Church, located at 2554 Bethel Road, will begin a revival continuing through Feb. 1 at 7:30 nightly, with Bishop DeMarco Speight as speaker.
• Hilltop Bible Baptist Church, located at 110 17th Ave. N.W., in Cairo, Ga., will host the Hinkle Family Bluegrass Gospel concert from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event is free.
• AA Recovery Group, U.S. Highway 27 North behind Mr. Pip’s, 1 p.m.
• AA, 814 West St., women’s meeting at 6:30 p.m., speaker meeting at 8 p.m.

• The 2013 Job and Career Expo will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Kirbo Center on the Bainbridge College campus. The event is sponsored by the SWGA Employer Committee and Bainbridge College, and co-sponsored by Bainbridge Career Center at Georgia Department of Labor and the Bainbridge/Decatur County Chamber of Commerce.
• University of Georgia’s 2013 Ag Forecast, Cloud Livestock Facility, registration at 9 a.m., seminar from 10 a.m. to noon with lunch to follow. Richard Barnhill, owner of Mazur and Hockman Peanut Brokers, will be the speaker.

• Oak Grove M.B. Church, located at 138 Philyaw Road, Fowlstown, will observe the Women Ministry’s annual Pull-A-Book program. Speaker will be Rev. Sandra Simmons.

Friday, Feb. 8
• First Night of Father-Daughter Valentine Dance, sponsored by the Bainbridge-Decatur County Council for the Arts will be held at the Firehouse Gallery, from 7 to 9 p.m. Second night is Saturday, Feb. 9. Tickets are on sale at AtoZ on Water Street, next to the Firehouse, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturdays until Feb. 2. Cost is $30 per couple, with charge of $5 for each additional child.

• Bainbridge Rotary Club’s Third Annual Casino Night, Kirbo Center at Bainbridge College, 6 p.m.

• New Messiah M.B. Church, located at 1300 East River Road, will sponsor a Black History program at 2 p.m. with Rev. Alfred Smith III as pastor.
• Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church, located at 1810 S. West St., will observe Deacon’s Day at the 11:15 a.m. service.
