Mr. and Mrs. Terry Maxwell of Bainbridge, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Lynn Maxwell, to Jason Eric Strickland, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Strickland of Bainbridge.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Maxwell of Climax, Mrs. Nell Wright of Bainbridge and the late Charlie Wright.

She is a 2004 graduate of Bainbridge High School and of Southwest Georgia Technical College, majoring in respiratory therapy. She is employed as a respiratory therapist at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Ms. Bernice DuPriest of Brinson, and the late Bill DuPriest, and the late Ed and Betty Louise Strickland.

He is a 2003 graduate of Bainbridge High School and from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College with an associate degree in environmental horticulture.

He is employed as the Leisure Services Director for the City of Bainbridge.

The wedding is set for March 2, at 4 p.m., at Gin Creek in Hartsfield, Ga., where the reception will follow.
