The Parish Family, based out of Bainbridge, recently finished out 2012 with another award for “Group of the Year.”

The Parish Family was named Group of the Year in November, by the Artists Music Guild. The awards show was an elaborate, black-tie event held at the Heritage USA headquarters in Fort Mill, S.C. The Artists Music Guild assists with the understanding and advancement of the arts to our culture.

“We are so grateful for this award,” said Kesha Parish. “The Artists Music Guild is such an awesome organization which offers very professional services for artists of diverse skills and talents.”

The southwest Georgia natives had a strong year in their Christian country music ministry, taking home two awards earlier in 2012, for Favorite Group of the Year and Favorite Female Horizon (Kesha Parish). Those awards were presented by the nationally-acclaimed Christian Voice Magazine FanFest Awards show, held in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.

Currently, The Parish Family group is blessed to receive nominations for Christian Voice Magazine’s FanFest Awards, to be held in April 2013. The nominations are for Favorite Group of the Year, Album of the Year (Back on the Wheel), and Female Vocalist of the Year (Kesha Parish).
