The Bainbridge High School junior-varsity Bearcats basketball team defeated the Cairo High School junior-varsity Syrupmakers 35-20 Wednesday in Cairo, to complete their season with a 4-4 record.

The Bearcats, who are coached by Brandon Ingram and Eric Williams, were led by DeVontae Jones with 23 points.

Rounding out the Bearcats’ scoring column were Miles Thomas and Dontavious Jones, with four points apiece, and Russell Wheeler and Jordan Davis, with two each.
